COVID19 Update

Like you, we are constantly monitoring the latest news about the coronavirus. Faced with many resulting challenges, we are doing all we can to help each grieving family honor their loved one in strict accordance with the most recent Executive Order issued by Rhode Island's Governor. Governor Raimondo's Executive Order regarding "Phase III Re-Opening after the three-week Pause, dated December 21, 2020, strickly prohibits social gatherings, public or private, with anyone other than your "Household" (meaning, those people you live with).

Guidelines for funerals are stated as follows:

  • Funeral memorials or Life Celebrations taking place at houses of worship must adhere to the Houses of Worship capacity limits of 25%, but not more than 125 people.
  • Calling hours or wakes and are not allowed in funeral homes.
  • Final viewings may occur for immediate family only (spouse, parents, children, siblings and grandparents), one household at a time. 
  • Outdoor gravesite services may occur with up to fifteen (15) individuals in attendance. Social distancing (staying six feet away from each other) and wearing cloth face coverings, that cover your mouth and nose, must be always practiced. Funeral Home Staff & Officiants must remain 12 feet away from mourners and wearing required face covering.  Casket bearers should return to their vehicles once the casket is at the graveside unless they are included in the fifteen allowed to be in attendance.
